Bantam X
Minimum line length for maximum flexibility - Launch anywhere
Pilot Profile:
Despite its high damping, the BANTAM X requires a high level of piloting skill given its small area (11 m² projected). Essentially, we classify the requirements as similar to those of the BANTAM 2 with the same respective wing loading. The BANTAM X is an innovative ultra-lightweight Hike & Fly paraglider designed to maximize launch possibilities in alpine terrain. By drastically reducing the line length to an impressive 3.2 meters, pilots can inflate and launch the wing in extremely tight spaces with minimal risk of line snagging. Featuring excellent roll stability, the BANTAM X offers solid glide performance and an exceptional flare for safe landings, despite having an 11 m² projected area. Uncertified due to its radical geometry, it requires high piloting skills but rewards para-alpinists with unparalleled freedom.
